The PRINT-AID SUMMER SCHOOL 2
'Management of biomaterial-associated infections through development of personalized anti-infective medical devices'
will be organised in Amsterdam, The Netherlands April 8th-12th 2019.
‘The programme consists of 5 full days composed of lectures and practical courses culminating in Master class with invited speakers’, says Dr. Martijn Riool, the Summer School organizer and PRINT-AID member. 'These include an introduction day with networking activity, a 3-day practical course with supporting lectures, followed by a Master class in Amsterdam.' The experimental program at the Amsterdam UMC at the University of Amsterdam aims at antimicrobial activity testing (MIC/MBC, JIS, agar diffusion, biofilms etc.), antimicrobial resistance, and immune responses (histology, microscopy etc.)
Additionally, separate networking event for PRINT-AID Fellows are included.
